DELIVERING SENSING TO THE FLEET
L3Harris’ integrated electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) solutions also support Navies around the world. Within the airborne domain, the WESCAM MX™-20 sensor system was developed and delivered to the U.S. Navy P-3 as the very first production WESCAM MX™-Series system, with hundreds of WESCAM MX-20 EO/IR systems now deployed worldwide on P-3 aircraft. The company followed that success with the installation of the WESCAM MX-20 on P-8 aircraft worldwide and continues to build on over four decades of support for the U.S. Navy.
L3Harris surface capabilities are deployed worldwide, with the WESCAM MXâ„¢-10 MS and WESCAM MXâ„¢-15 MS enabling EO/IR ISR support for maritime vessels of all sizes, including fast attack craft, RHIBs and unmanned vessels. These systems are configured to meet the challenges at sea, providing shipboard surveillance, low visibility and night navigation, search and rescue missions, maritime interception and high-performance tracking to identify friend or foe.
Additionally, the company's MK20 and MK46 electro-optical (EO) sighting systems are the standard EO narrow field-of-view system for capital ships worldwide. L3Harris provides unmatched imaging from our photonic masts in support of U.S. and Allied Nations.
