L3Harris Technologies to Deliver WESCAM MX-GCS Sighting Systems for U.S. Army M-SHORAD Increment 1 Program

MELBOURNE, Fla. — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) received a contract from Moog, Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B)  to procure 33 WESCAM MX™-GCS sighting systems in support of the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense Increment 1 (M-SHORAD Inc. 1) program. 

L3Harris will provide a  fully-digital above-armor sighting system in a single lightweight package to . The sighting system will be integrated onto Moog’s; providing the capabilities required to counter unmanned aircraft systems, rotary-wing and fixed-wing threats. Deliveries to Moog will begin in 2021.
